Since our inception, Epsilon Epsilon Zeta has served the
Central Florida community through numerous service endeavors. The
Stork’s Nest program was started in 1977 and it is still going
strong today through our community baby showers. Annually we sponsor
toy drives, feed the homeless, raise thousands of dollars for March of
Dimes and the American Cancer Society, and read to elementary school
children through the read and rize program.
EEZ is proud to run the children’s corridor during the
annual Zora Neale Hurston Festival in Eatonville, FL. The
children’s corridor allows children to express their creative
side by making hats and jewelry and other fun items during the weekend
street festival. Eatonville is also the home of the Moseley
House Museum where Zora stayed when she came to Florida. It is
maintained by the Zeta Educational Thespian Association, Inc. http://floridazeta.com/
Throughout the years we have partnered with numerous service
organizations such as the Orlando Union Rescue Mission where we feed
the homeless three times a year, Coalition for the Homeless, March of
Dimes, Urban League, NAACP and most recently the American Cancer
Society. Through ZHOPE (Zetas Helping Other People Excel) our
international service platform we continue to impact the lives of many
families in Central Florida.
